The Customer Insights department are a new but fast-growing team within Softcat. We are small, friendly and supportive team who work closely with all of sales across corporate and public sector, as well as other internal teams such as data, systems, and operations. We are responsible for utilising internal and external data to help maximise our addressable market opportunity.

Help to maximise our addressable market opportunity

As a Customer Insights Administrator you will work alongside the Customer Insights team, to support the sales team with day-to-day operations, including: customer insights inbox management, reporting, data analysis, customer segmentation, system development, customer data management and other tasks. You will be working closely with internal teams including (but not limited to): sales, sales management, marketing, vendor managers, commercial finance, and systems development to use data, systems, and process to grow and improve the business.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing data analysis for growth development, return on investment and analysis of the customer market
  • Conducting data quality reviews to maintain data accuracy
  • Supporting the system development team with improvements and project priorities
  • Providing day-to-day assistance to the Customer Insights team
  • Diary and inbox management

We'd love you to have

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to track multiple projects running in parallel and remain highly organised
  • Data curious and able to use data to make informed decisions
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
