Job Responsibility:

ACES Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an HR Administrator who is exceptionally organised and self-motivated, with an interest in HR. The role will focus mainly on contract and payroll administration, and you will work closely with two HR administrators to support a smooth and efficient HR service to our schools.

Contract type: Part-time, Permanent

Working Pattern: 30 hours per week, 41 weeks per year, with a 30-minute unpaid break (38 weeks term-time + 5 INSET days + 10 days worked over the school holidays and in line with the monthly payroll schedule). Exact working pattern is flexible and subject to agreement (hours split over 4 or 5 days).

Salary: Scale 4, Points 7-11, namely £17,652 - £18,876 (FTE £24,294 - £25,979).

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has achieved a minimum level 4/C GCSE in Maths & English.
  • Has basic I.T skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Outlook (Excel knowledge would be advantageous).
  • Demonstrates an understanding of working in a confidential environment and dealing with situations in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of managing own time effectively and using initiative.
  • Can work as part of a team and independently with confidence, meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Is flexible and adaptable, responding to changing requirements.
  • Has a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and is confident in proofreading their own and others' work.
  • Is committed to providing excellent customer service.
  • Has the ability to form sound relationships with colleagues and the wider school community.
