The Manchester College has many Campus locations across Greater Manchester, each with its own specialist cutting-edge facilities within a friendly and supportive environment. We are the largest Further Education College in the UK providing education and training to a wide range of learners.

We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw Campus to join our Supported Learning Department as an Administrator on a permanent, part time (21 hours per week - will be across three or four days) basis.

As an Administrator you will provide a proactive and responsive administrative service to support the administration to Assistant Principals, Curriculum Staff, and Learners, in line with college processes and procedures. To assist the College in maximising its recruitment targets, in line with Recruitment Policy. To contribute to the Colleges strategic Plan and Provide an excellent Learner Experience. To engage in a culture of development and be innovative in the use of effective, efficient systems. The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative enabling you to prioritise workloads.

In order to do this role, you will need:

  • GCSE or L2 equivalent English
  • GCSE or L2 equivalent Maths
  • L1 Business & Administration Award, (Equivalent qualification or relevant experience)
  • SEND awareness would be an advantage
  • Have strong literacy and numeracy skills, competent in the use of IT with a willingness to develop IT skills further
