Job Description :

We are recruiting for a maternity cover for our Head of Finance role until November ! The Head of Finance is a senior position leading the day-to-day planning, implementing, managing and controlling of all financial related activities of the Serpentine. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Operations and Finance, this is a key, hands on role with overall responsibility for the integrity of the Trust's accounting, and reporting processes, overseeing all financial controls, cash management and leading on the annual budgeting process. You will add value by providing accurate and timely financial analysis and insight into the operational activities of the business to influence and contribute to decision making and business planning throughout the organisation whist ensuring robust control environment and balance sheet integrity. You will be a qualified accountant, with excellent financial accounting skills and experience of successful delivery by leading and developing a small Finance team. You will have sound knowledge and experience of statutory accounts preparation and ideally you will have experience with the Charity sector.
