Responsibilities

• Prepare management reporting packs in a timely and clear fashion, with risks and opportunities readily identified.

• Provide insightful analysis and review of business performance to senior stakeholders, including Opex, Capex and Headcount variance analysis.

• Lead the planning cycle (budgets and forecasts) covering P&L, balance sheet & cash flow.

• Financial analysis to support with strategic development and key business decisions.

• Production of the annual operating plan and re-forecasts.

• Business partner with department heads to support with strategic decisions across the business.

• Reviewing departmental budgets, challenging assumptions, variances and influencing efficiencies.

• Developing a strong understanding of all departments, including key cost drivers.

• Developing processes to efficiently and effectively manage the company's current operations as well as plan for future growth.

• Recognizing patterns in company spending and suggest solutions to problem areas.

• Performing regular financial analysis with KPI's and dashboards relevant to each department

• Directing monthly meetings with individual department directors to discuss department spend against budget.

• Assist Director Of Finance with ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• Experience in management accounting

• Strong knowledge of planning and performance processes, including annual budget, monthly forecast and periodic business reviews

• Team orientated, a “can do” attitude and flexible approach

• Desire to get into the details

• Possess experience in delivering high-level, forward thinking commercial analysis and driving business outcomes

• FP&A experience gained within established businesses, ideally within the media and broadcasting sector;

• Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance operations. Knowledge of Netsuite desirable;

• Possess strong Excel and IT systems skills;

• Strong presentation skills;

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience working in a multinational and multicultural organisation.

• Experience of business partnering with non-finance functions.

• Demonstrate ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Hands on pro-active approach with an ability to work well autonomously.

• Highly organized and high attention to detail
