Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and caring personal assistant to support a female adult with Down Syndrome and Autism. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with learning difficulties and be able to provide one-on-one support.

Duties:* Pick up and drop off our client from her home to the day centre

* Attend the day centre with our client and support her in activities, including social interactions, arts and crafts, and recreational activities

* Provide personal assistance and support as needed in relation to her personal care plan.

* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for our client

Person Specification

* Female candidate preferred

* Previous experience working with adults with learning difficulties

* Full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle

* Ability to provide one-on-one support and work independently

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

* Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.88-£12.88 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
