Job Overview:

We are currently seeking two Expert Assessors to join our teams undertaking assessments of applicants for Blue Badges . To do this job you will need to be a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist. The work is flexible being either one or two days a week in Norwich, Lowestoft and Ipswich . Before starting you will be given full training -OTs and Physios already have the clinical expertise to do this work so the training is to confirm the government criteria so you can recommend if the applicant meets the criteria

You as a healthcare professional will meet and greet the applicant who recently made an application for Blue badge. Your job is to assess the applicant's health issues and mobility, check if they meet the criteria.

Each assessment should take 40 min - 20-30 min assessment and 10 - 20 min report writing. We have a template form to fill in.

Appointments are booked for you in advance, up to 10 on the day by the admin team

Clinic hours 9:10-3:40 ( last appointment) It's £175 per clinic day (£185 completing 10 clinics within 6 months time frame)

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, FreelanceContract length: 24 months

Pay: £175.00-£185.00 per day

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
