Job Responsibility:

We are a small geo-environmental consultancy based in Twickenham. We offer a wide range of services to both the private and public sector. We are seeking motivated individuals to assist with the delivery of our Flood Risk Assessment and Sustainable Drainage Strategy services.

SALARY RANGE

Negotiable.- Depending upon qualifications, skills and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a relevant degree, masters or PhD in a relevant subject;
  • Full UK driving licence.

EXPERIENCE

Ideally candidates will have some experience undertaking a similar role in a consultancy for at least 2 - 5 years.

SKILLS

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • High Standard of interpretive report writing;
  • Independent ; Effective; Well organised, Teamworker, Numerate, Excellent Communicator, Detail Conscious;
  • IT skills/abilities - GIS (ArcMap or QGIS), Microdrainage, Causeway, AutoCAD, Flood Modeller;
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities;
  • Capability/experience of dealing with clients directly;

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Undertaking Flood Risk and SuDS Assessments for new developments;
  • Undertaking site work - Assisting with site investigations (i.e. infiltration tests, soil and drainage surveys);
  • Business Development - Quoting for projects, contacting clients, closing opportunities;

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London, TW2 6RS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (required)

Experience:

  • Environmental Engineering: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
