We're currently recruiting for a General Manager to lead warehouse operations at our Wakefield and Gotham Sites. You'll responsible for the operational and financial performance of the contract, taking ownership of vehicles and staff as we provide a seamless service for this prestigious contract. You'll ensure that we are constantly compliant and achieving customer KPIs in a timely manner.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £65,000 per annum, a monthly car allowance and bonus. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Oversee the operational day to day across all warehouse locations.
• To align the operations teams to the needs of the wider network ensuring that the contractual KPI's are met and exceeded. Safety, Service, Cost & Sustainability.
• Collaborate with the Head of Control Tower and Regional Managers to deliver the best-in-class end to end logistics solution for our customer.
• Coach and mentor the site teams to develop and excel in their roles whilst building a strong succession plan.
• Engage with the customer regularly to report back on Safety, Service, Cost & Sustainability.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Experience managing a warehouse contract within a third-party environment.
• An effective understanding of budgets and P&L
• The ability to communicate effectively with all customers and stakeholders
