Salary: Grade 3, £11,368 – £11,750 per annum. £11.78 – £12.18 per hour
18.5 hours per week
Your role:
You will be part of a team delivering adaptations to council and private properties in the Wigan Borough. Working alongside a dedicated team of staff providing administration support for colleagues and managers you will deal with a range of enquiries from a number of sources including telephone calls, letters and email. You will be the first point of contact for new enquiries liaise between customers, contractors, colleagues and partner agencies. You will be responsible for general administration tasks such as input and extract data from ICT systems, ordering works, processing invoices, and the preparation and posting out of correspondence.
About you:
You will be the first point of contact for all new incoming enquiries that are received via telephone, letter or email. You will have 3 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above (A-C) or experience of working in partnership with other organisations and agencies to deliver effective and appropriate services. You will support the resolution of issues by liaising with customers, contractors, colleagues and other Council departments and partner agencies and refer the matter to a manager or colleague for assistance as required. Youi will record enquiries and resolution on our own in-house’ computer/ filing systems.
