Job Responsibility:
Purpose of the Role:
To provide the International Healthcare team with technical administration support, and to work on allocated tasks and projects as directed by management to facilitate the business operations of the company.
Key Role Accountabilities:
- Learn about the London Insurance Market and International Insurance Markets to gain an understanding about Insurance (or continue if already experienced)
- Gain an understanding of Price Forbes systems and standard operating procedures relating to placing, contract and closing documentation
- Keeps informed of all regulatory and legal changes which impacts on the job role
- Become an effective team member and collaborate well with peers in the London office
- Gain an understanding of client requirements and the Insurance Products handled by the International Healthcare team
- Ensures up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems
- Assist with sanctions screening and “know your client” due diligence procedures.
- Support the team with the logging of all quotes and enquiries in relevant systems
- Preparation of client and broking documentation including MRCs and endorsements
- Performs technical duties (including data entry, credit control, chasing subjectivities)
- Utilisation of electronic placing platforms
- Processing of slips, quotes, indications and endorsements
- Utilises specific references and systems, for example CRYSTAL to ensure compliance with territory specific tax and legislative environments
- Gain an understanding and build knowledge of policy wording / coverage requirements specific to the product lines handled by the International Healthcare team
- Carrying out such projects and other duties and tasks as may from time to time be required.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and/or Underwriters as appropriate
- Operates in an honest, professional and ethical manner
Qualifications & Experience:
This can be an entry level role whereby full training will be provided. It is not a requirement to have knowledge or previous experience within the insurance industry, however 1-2 years working within another Lloyds broking house in a similar role would be advantageous. This would include in particular experience producing documentation such as slips and/or endorsements
5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
A level Grade A-C (or equivalent)

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good numeracy skills and ability to work with data.
