We are looking for an experienced, passionate Musical Theatre, Ballet and Street Dance Teacher to help our students learn in a fun and safe environment. An ideal candidate has a background in teaching, a love of dancing and singing (musical theatre only) and is passionate about helping others enjoy and succeed in performing. We’re looking for a teacher who can provide proper feedback to his or her students and can motivate students to keep attending classes.

Hours available:

Tuesday’s:

15:20-16:20 – 1 hour in Crowthorne – Infant Street Dance

Wednesday’s:

15:25-17:45 – 1 hour and 45 mins in Wokingham – Infant Street Dance and Boys Street Dance

15:30-19:00 – 3 hour in Wokingham – Infant Ballet and Assisting Tap and Modern

Thursday’s:

15:30-17:30 – 1.5 hours in Wokingham and Bracknell – Infant Street Dance and Junior Musical Theatre

Friday’s:

15:20-16:20 – 1 hour in Crowthorne – Junior Street Dance

Positions to start September 2024. Musical Theatre teacher must be strong at singing.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dance classes.
  • Have expert dance technique.
  • Have expert musical theatre technique.
  • Teach basic dance moves to beginners.
  • Teach intermediate and advanced dance steps to intermediate and advanced students.
  • Teach students routines for competitions or performances.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £17.50-£27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week

Experience:

  • Dance Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

  • Safeguarding Certification (preferred)
  • Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred)
