Kite Packaging – Supply Chain Management Apprenticeship

Kite Packaging are looking for their very own Supply Chain Management Apprentice starting in September 2024. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has the potential and ambition to become a logistics manager of the future. Kite is a Sunday Times Top 100 business with the fastest growth in the packaging distribution industry.

We are looking for strong candidates to join our Supply Chain Management Apprenticeship with the view to specialising in Operations and Logistics based at our state-of-the-art facility in Coventry.

The Programme will give you a unique opportunity to experience working in all parts of the logistics operation with professional development training and support along the way. You will be mentored by and report to a Senior Manager, who will provide insight into the operational side of Kite Packaging and support your learning.

This is a 4 year programme integrating a Supply Chain Management Degree (BSc. Hons.) with Aston University. The degree starts in September 2024 and involves attending Aston University throughout the 4 year programme. All costs of attending the degree course, as well as the time required for it, will be covered by Kite Packaging.

Upon completion of the programme successful candidates would take up a position to further develop their skills with an opportunity to become a team leader or manager.

Location:

Kite Packaging operates in nine locations across the UK, however the apprentice position is located at our state-of-the-art facility in Coventry.

Key Skills and Essential Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following:

• 5 GCSE’s with a minimum Grade 6 (B Grade) in Maths and English Language
• 112 UCAS points
• Have confidence in their abilities and be able to easily create a rapport with others
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Have a full UK driver’s licence

You must have a desire to work in a supply chain environment and we want to see your ambition, initiative, enthusiasm and talent!

Salary:

All successful candidates will be provided with starting basic salary of £20,000, rising

by £2,000 every 12 months towards £28,000 on completion of the programme.
