Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated one to one Support Worker to join our team in providing care and assistance to a child in our nursery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and supporting individuals with medical and additional needs. Primarily the role is to support a child who needs one to one support,3 sessions per week. The child has a tracheotomy and full training will be provided.

Duties:

- Support the nursery team in managing daily activities and routines for children

- Provide high-quality childcare and create a safe and nurturing environment

- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

- Assist in planning and implementing educational activities

- Encourage children's development through play and learning

- Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment

Experience:

- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles

- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
