If so, we have a great opportunity for you to become our Business Resourcing Accounting and Financial Control Manager, based in London, Bristol or Birmingham. This role will consolidate, control and communicate accurate total labour cost (TLC) and total labour resource (TLR) financial reporting for the Customer Facing Unit (‘CFU') and Group whilst meeting compliance requirements for the whole of Business. You will business partner with Business's HR (workforce management) and Transformation teams by providing finance support and challenge. This role will also support the wider financial reporting requirements (internal and external) within BT for Business.   • Delivers highly complex total labour cost (TLC), total labour resource (TLR), specific items and Transformation reporting and forecasting (this includes presentation of information to key stakeholders).
  • HR workforce management business partnering.
  • Support and challenge the local units with effective analysis.
  • Oversees and reviews activities carried out by Group Finance Shared Service (GFSS).
  • Acts as a key contact with Group and other CFUs for matters relating to Business's financial reporting.
  • Heads up the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of labour resource planning and reporting processes and to resolve data issues impacting productivity and compliance.
  • Makes sure appropriate processes and controls are in place that meet audit standard.
  • Supports senior manager with any ad hoc queries or projects arising from different stakeholders.
You'll have the following skills & experience
  • You will be a qualified accountant, who is skilled in Excel.
  • Adept with Finance Data, Processes and Systems, as well as Data Analysis and insight.
  • Financial Controls, compliance and risk.
  • Management Reporting.
  • Forecasting, planning and budgeting.
  • Risk and Assurance.
  • Financial Accounting.
