OverviewWe are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a commitment to delivering exceptional meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality while leading kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and execute meal preparation, maintaining high levels of quality and presentation.
• Assist in menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure availability of ingredients.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting is essential.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques, meal preparation methods, and culinary skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is highly desirable.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per hour
