Job Responsibility:
We have an exciting opportunity to join the workforce business partnering team in Morriston Service Group, working to support our ambition of becoming a high-quality organisation in line with the Health Boards 10-year vision and People Strategy. You will hold membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, Level 7 CIPD qualification (or equivalent) or working towards, and have experience in delivery high quality strategic and operational people management advice and guidance. Reporting to the HR Business partner you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service to multiple Divisions, supporting the development and modernisation of their services, including effective workforce utilisation, role design, workforce restructuring, skill mix, management of change, staff engagement and experience and supporting improvement plans for key workforce metrics, in line with best practices and Health Board policies and procedures. Expert knowledge of the full range of HR policies and procedures and excellent working knowledge of employment legislation is essential. In this role you will benefit from being part of a supportive workforce and site management team, with opportunity to grow and develop. This role can offer hybrid working; however, the core of this role is embedded in and works closely with divisional teams who have an onsite presence, and so a minimum of 3 days office based, on site at Morriston Hospital, is required. Flexibility is a critical aspect of this role and you will need to demonstrate the willingness, understanding and ability to manage a broad range of Divisional workforce priorities. An excellent communicator, you will have the ability to develop and maintain relationships across a wide range of managers/clinicians/and staff, as well as ensuring a partnership working approach. You will analyse and provide key information to managers and clinicians to enable them to manage their workforce effectively. You will have a commitment to working as part of a team and have experience of a busy and diverse workload, prioritising effectively at all times. The role also provides generalist HR support to managers offering expert advice regarding terms and conditions of employment, employee relations case work, including, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, respect and resolution, change management and sickness absence management. You will also support staff engagement, experience and wellbeing, as well as organisational development programmes for the service group, in conjunction with the wider Workforce and Organisational Development team.
