VACANCY: Experienced Machine Operative

(Spindle Moulder experience would be advantageous)

Thornbury Site, Bradford, West Yorkshire

Woodlands Home & Garden Group is a market leader in the manufacture of garden buildings, including sheds, summerhouses and log cabins. Based in three sites at Rodley, (LS13), Thornbury (BD3) and Horsforth (LS18) our sales have grown rapidly and we are now looking to expand our team of people - could you be the person we are looking for?

You will be part of a large team of manufacturers based at our site in Thornbury, with a great support network to help you learn the job. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for the management of purchased and manufactured stock and picking, cycle counting and delivery to the line, ensuring each manufacturing area has sufficient items to produce/pack the goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Program machine in line with instructions
• Safe operation of machinery following method statements
• Check that the end product meets with quality criteria
• Maintain the pace that meets production needs
• Cleaning and general maintenance of the machine
• Keeping work area clean and organized
• Work with and as part of the team
• Completion of all relevant paperwork
