The Balmer Lawn Hotel are looking to recruit a highly motivated, articulate and organised individual to join our front of house team in Reception. Reporting to our Reception Manager and working on a shift basis, you would be responsible for providing the highest standard of customer service whilst maintaining accurate guest accounts/records and actively promoting the Hotel facilities. As a Senior Receptionist you will be required to run your shift in the absence of the Reception Manager

Our Requirements:-

• To support the Reception Team to oversee and direct all aspects of the Balmer Lawn Hotel reception
• To have at least 2 years experience at this level in a similar environment
• To ensure all Reception duties are carried out effectively
• Meeting & greeting guests
• Checking the guest in and out using the hotel system
• Answering the telephone
• Processing payments
• Allocation of guest rooms and directing guests
• Have previous Reception experience within a four and/or five star property
• Ideally previous use of “Rezlynx”, our bespoke hotel system
• Be computer literate
• Have an excellent command of written and spoken English, combined with excellent communication skills
• Be able to work well under pressure and have strong organisational skills
• Have a warm, friendly, engaging and professional attitude
