Job Responsibility:
The Barn Cafe' are seeking full-time Restaurant Manager to join our small team for our 2024 season with a provisional start date of 17/06/2023.
About Us
We are located in a remote but beautiful part of the North West Highlands at Sands Caravan and Camping in Gairloch, Wester Ross. Just 3 miles off the North Coast 500 route the campsite and cafe are always busy.
The restaurant and on-site takeaway hut are open 7 days a week for coffee and home-baked cakes, cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening drinks. The Barn Cafe is open seasonally (late March - end of October).
Whilst ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly, your hands on management responsibilities include;
Implementing and maintaining a high standard of guest service.
· Motivate and inspire the restaurant team to create a positive and hard-working environment.
· Provide constructive feedback on performance.
· Maximise revenue opportunities.
· Maintain an appropriate level of stock.
· Ensure compliance with licensing.
· Communicate clearly and work well within the management team.
· Bring inspiration for new ideas where we can use our own produce.
· Passion for food and beverage taking into consideration the quality of presentation.
· Ensure that your areas and equipment are used in the proper manner and kept clean and well maintained.
· Particularly important is a good working relationship and atmosphere between our front of house and kitchen staff.
