Scrum Master Salary: National ranging from £57,600 to £72,000 Are you interested in stimulating and innovative work to help solve the biggest technical challenges facing financial regulation? The team/department We are currently looking for Scrum Masters to be part of our exciting new Digital Delivery Hub in Leeds. You will be accountable for the effective delivery and oversight of key products and services delivered through the Digital Delivery Hub and provide delivery leadership to your workstream, acting as the key point of engagement with a number of teams and business partners. The Scrum Master is part of the delivery team and is responsible for the quality and optimization of software development and technical delivery. Ensuring that the planned releases are appropriately tested, delivered to the release timeline whilst meeting the quality expectations and protecting the integrity of the Live environments. What you will be doing (the role)
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Daily Scrums, Refinements, Retrospectives)
  • Optimise backlog and squad throughput
  • Resolve risks, issues, and interdependencies
  • Manage internal and external relationships for delivery teams
  • Foster a collaborative, conflict-free environment
  • Align releases with product managers, stakeholders, and project timelines

  • Certified Scrum Master or willingness to work towards this
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Jira utilising reporting metrics and governance
  • Experience in providing coaching and expertise in a full range of delivery skillsets, including Agile delivery methodologies, governance, DevSecOps and UCD practices
Essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of co-ordinating complex agile developments in a form that can be reliably communicated to the wider business, enabling the business to schedule activity with a degree of confidence
  • Understanding of metrics of incremental delivery
  • Experience of implementing Agile methodologies business-wide
  • Experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
