Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Innovate UK Grant Writer to join our team. This remote, full-time role is designed to support the development of compelling and successful grant applications. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in helping our clients secure government funding by creating engaging narratives and managing the grant writing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Grant Writing and Project Management:

• Create compelling and persuasive narratives for grant applications, meeting the specific requirements of Innovate UK and other funding bodies.
• Conduct thorough research and lead insightful discussions with founders and C-level executives to understand their vision and motivations.
• Produce concise and authentic application narratives, tailored to client specifications, to position them favourably for funding.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications.

Client Engagement and Research:

• Engage with clients to gain a deep understanding of their projects and funding needs.
• Conduct background research to support the development of strong grant proposals.
• Collaborate with clients to refine and enhance application content, ensuring alignment with funding criteria.

Team Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the BidX.ai team to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the grant writing process.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and any potential challenges.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our grant writing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Background in a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics), with a Ph.D. or MSc preferred, or significant experience in your chosen field.
• Proven experience in writing successful grant applications, preferably for Innovate UK or similar funding bodies.
• Ability to confidently converse with senior professionals and innovators across various subjects.
• Strong understanding of the UK/EU grants funding landscape and the grants application process.
• High literacy and proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
