Job Responsibility:

Founded in 2016, Vintage Threads are one of Europe's leading vintage retailers operating across both online and physical stores. Every piece that we sell has been handpicked from around the world and we typically sell a highly curated selection of both designer and sportswear from the 80s, 90s and early 00s. The VT Rework department was established in 2019 and is a massively evolving facet of the business with our daily mission to reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry by reworking damaged items to create some truly unique pieces. Our team is full of energetic and ambitious people who are truly passionate about vintage and the story we are trying to tell through our pieces and we would love whoever fills this position to share this passion.

What Is The Role?

Your role will be focusing on the stock processing for the business. Due to the high volume of items coming into the business it's your job to ensure all the clothes are unpacked, categorised, cleaned and prepared so they can be processed straight to the shops or given to the content team to shoot for ecom.

A driving license is helpful for the role as you will have to take the clothes to laundry and the clothing repair shop.An interest and passion for vintage clothing is a must as you will be processing some incredibly rare items.

Once the clothes have been processed you will be uploading the items onto the Vintage Threads database which is mainly using excel, so experience in this will be beneficial to your application.

The essential skills you need for the role :

- Written and spoken English language- Experience and knowledge for spreadsheets- Passion for vintage- Shopify experience is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided- Hard working and a positive attitude. We have a very fast paced working environment, it's essential you are someone who is proactive and self motivated.

Pay: £11.33-£11.50 per hour
