Job Description :

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced RFID and Blockchain Technology Expert to develop and implement cutting-edge RFID solutions tailored for the retail industry. The ideal candidate will leverage RFID technology and blockchain to optimize inventory management, enhance supply chain transparency, and improve overall retail operations. This role requires a deep understanding of both RFID and blockchain technologies, with a focus on their application in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

RFID Technology Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy RFID solutions to improve inventory tracking, asset management, and customer experience in retail environments.
• Work with hardware engineers to select and configure RFID tags, readers, and antennas suitable for retail applications.
• Develop RFID middleware and software to support data collection, processing, and integration with existing retail systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, proof of concepts, and pilot projects for new RFID applications in retail.

Blockchain Technology Development:

• Design and implement blockchain-based solutions to ensure secure, transparent, and tamper-proof transactions within the retail supply chain.
• Develop smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) on blockchain platforms to support retail operations.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of blockchain solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology relevant to the retail industry.

Integration and Implementation:

• Integrate RFID and blockchain technologies to create seamless solutions for inventory management, product authentication, and supply chain transparency in retail.
• Develop APIs and middleware to facilitate communication between RFID systems and blockchain networks.
• Oversee the deployment and testing of integrated solutions in retail environments, ensuring smooth operation and minimal disruption.

Project Management:

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver RFID and blockchain projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for technology deployment in retail settings.

Research and Development:

• Conduct research on emerging technologies in the fields of RFID and blockchain, with a focus on retail applications.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in retail operations using RFID and blockchain technologies.
• Publish technical papers and present findings at industry conferences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing RFID technology solutions in the retail sector.
• Extensive knowledge of blockchain technology, including platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, and others.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Solidity, and C++.
• Experience with smart contract development and blockchain security best practices.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
