Overview:We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Admissions Consultant with expertise in assisting students aiming to pursue higher education in universities within the UK. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the UK education systems, admission requirements, and application processes for undergraduate programs.

This role requires relocation to Singapore and an employment visa will be sponsored by the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised consulting services to students seeking admission to the top UK universities.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career aspirations to develop tailored admissions strategies.
  • Guide students through the entire application process, including selecting suitable universities and courses, preparing application materials, and completing required forms.
  • Advise students on standardized testing requirements and relevant admissions tests.
  • Assist students in crafting compelling personal statements, essays, and profiles that effectively showcase their strengths, achievements, and aspirations.
  • Provide guidance on securing strong letters of recommendation and preparing for interviews, where applicable.
  • Stay updated on trends, policies, and changes in the UK higher education landscape to provide accurate and relevant information to students.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for students throughout the admissions process.
  • Maintain records of student interactions, progress, and outcomes to track performance and enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and events to share knowledge and insights on university admissions and latest developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a top UK university, including Oxbridge and any of the Russell group universities.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in admissions consulting or a related teaching role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the UK higher education system, including admission criteria, application procedures, and cultural nuances.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing requirements and proficiency in advising students on test preparation strategies.
  • Commitment to providing ethical and unbiased guidance to students, adhering to professional standards and best practices in admissions consulting.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, as needed, to accommodate student schedules and deadlines.

Work Arrangement:

  • Working days - Tuesday to Saturday
