Job Responsibility:
Junior Bookkeeper - In-House | Canary Wharf | £22,000 - £23,500 5 days/week | Mon-Fri | 9am-5pm (Flexible Hours)
We're Quant Tekel, a dynamic, fast-growing proprietary trading firm based in Canary Wharf. We're on the lookout for a detail-driven, spreadsheet-loving Junior Bookkeeper to join our friendly, supportive team. This is an in-office role with flexible hours, perfect for someone who values both precision and work-life balance.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping in-house
- Tracking cash flow and maintaining accurate financial records
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Paying invoices and reconciling accounts
- Supporting P&L tracking and financial reporting
- Keeping figures current and audit-ready
What we're looking for:
- Some prior bookkeeping experience (ideally in-house)
- Confident with spreadsheets (a real wizard!)
- Comfortable handling VAT returns and basic cash flow management
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
- Someone who enjoys being part of a young, collaborative environment
