About Us

An Apprentice Executive Assistant (EA) position has become available within the Executive Support Hub in the Department of Adult Social Care & Public Health (DASC & PH). This hub supports the Director and her Senior Management Team (SMT) across Richmond and Wandsworth Councils.

The role reports to the Senior EA Officer of the EA Hub and is a team role within the hub providing support to a number of Assistant Directors and the Director within DASC & PH and across two sites. This is a fixed term contract for 16 months.

In this varied and challenging role, you will work closely with officers at all levels across the Council, with elected Members, partner organisations and the public.

Handling a wide range of duties, you will be helped to be proactive and able to work accurately to agreed timescales in a fast-paced environment, to support the EA Hub with all EA duties, including extensive diary management, supporting Board meetings, (intercepting calls) and dealing with highly confidential matters.

It will be helpful to have good written skills and you will be trained in minute-taking as well as being trained to make effective use of ICT.

A team player is absolutely essential, as we work together as a team across both sites to provide an effective service to SMT.
