Position: ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Tutors / Behavioural Specialists

Location: Salford, Manchester, UK

Salary:£18,000 - £22,000 per year (41 weeks term time 8:30am - 3:30pm / 11 weeks holiday)

Overtime available

Contract Type: Freelance or Employed Opportunities Available

About Us: Here at Adapt behaviour we are passionate in supporting individuals to reach their full potential. We are looking for behavioural specialists to join our expanding team. Our school-based programs in the Salford area are designed to create inclusive and supportive learning environments for children with autism and other developmental challenges. We are currently seeking multiple passionate and dedicated ABA Tutors to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualised school based ABA programs to support student learning and behaviour management.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support for each student.
  • Collect and analyse data to track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Adhere to the UK-SBA Code of Ethical and Professional Conduct.

Requirements (E-Essential / D-Desirable):

  • 5 GCSE A-C grade (Mathematics and English) or diploma equivalent (E)
  • Degree in Psychology or related subject (D)
  • Masters in ABA or related subject (D)
  • Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) or working towards certification (D)
  • Registered with the UK-SBA (D)
  • Certification in ABA or significant coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis (D).
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities (E)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (E).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team (E).
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to teaching and behavior management (E).
  • Complete and enhanced DBS check (E)
  • Creative, fun and energetic person with a passion for helping others, specifically children with SEN.
  • Fluent in English
  • Drivers license/ access to transport
