Award winning Art Gallery is looking for an experienced Art Gallery Sales Manager to spearhead sales at our Gallery located on St James's Street in Mayfair. Working closely with our Gallery Director, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and delivering unique customer experiences.

- Reporting directly to the Gallery Director
- Be the main point of contact for our clients, share your passion for the great range of artworks we offer, identify opportunities for further business development using the client database, local business contacts and smart marketing
- Providing a personal and unique service to our clients, always going above and beyond to provide an exceptional level of customer service.
- Making and conducting consultancy appointments both at the gallery and at clients' homes and offices
- Be comfortable selling luxury goods ranging from £5000 to £250,000 and have the ability to liaise and sell to clients of all levels and backgrounds
- Keep up to date with artist facts, art and interiors trends and what's happening in the wider art industry so you can confidently talk to our clients about art investment opportunities
- Organising and hosting special artist events and exhibitions
We are looking for someone to join us full time and work 6 days on a 5 day working pattern. We host events and exhibitions outside of normal hours so being flexible is important.
Key Skills:
- Experience in high management positions or gallery management.
- Strong commercial awareness of the luxury world and market trends.
- Proven track record of building client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Canva, Artsy, Mailchimp and Artlogic CRM.
- Well organised and adaptable.
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.
- Knowledgeable in customs procedures.
- Experienced in artist research and expanding client database.
- Familiar with art fairs such as London Art Fair, FRIEZE.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative sales strategies to exceed targets.
- Building a strong client network through relationship building.
- Present comprehensive weekly sales reports.
- Utilising lead generation techniques for new clients.
- Fostering long-term customer relationships and expanding the customer base.
- Prioritise customer-facing interactions.
- You will be working mostly weekdays, some weekends (instead of weekdays), so you will need to be flexible.
