Key Duties and responsibilities
- Design, post and monitor job advertisements for Tutor positions, ensuring they are engaging and accurately reflect the requirements and responsibilities.
- Conduct thorough screening processes, including reviewing applications, conducting initial interviews, carrying out DBS checks and shortlisting candidates for Tutor roles.
- Coordinate and conduct final interviews, working closely with educational professionals to select the most suitable candidates.
- Manage the on boarding process for new Tutors, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and the support systems available for pupils with SEMH.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to attract top talent and raise awareness of Chalkline's mission to support pupils.
- Represent Chalkline at marketing and networking events to promote services and establish connections with potential Tutors and educational institutions.
- Support with operations and business development
- Provide administrative support where necessary, including managing schedules, organising files, and maintaining records of Tutor engagements and compliance documents.
- Support Tutors, offering observations, check-ins & feedback to ensure they are effectively contributing to the educational and SEMH needs of pupils.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in education, SEMH, and recruitment to continually improve recruitment strategies and Tutor support programs.
- Solicit feedback from schools, Tutors, and pupils to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of tutoring support for SEMH.
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with UK employment laws and educational standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of Tutor performance and compliance with agency standards to ensure high-quality support for pupils with SEMH.
- Support the business with projects, initiatives and other responsibilities as required
Hours & Location:
This is a part-time role for 15-25 hours per week (Mon-Fri) between. We will however consider candidates looking for full time (37.5 hours p/w) however we do require the successful candidate to be available for a minimum of 3 days per week. Overtime may also available.
You would be expected to work from our office in Netherton, Dudley however there may be times where you will be able to work from home or attend events.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
