Job Responsibility:

Stock Controller/ Order Processor

A brief description of your role, you will be responsible for stock control and managing the Purchase orders for new stock.

Main responsibilities for your role as agreed: -

- Checking stock levels regularly

- Raising Purchase orders for new stock

- Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock

- Updating stock information on the computer system

- Comparing items received against items ordered

- Produce weekly and monthly reports

- Implementing or improving processes and procedures

- Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies

- Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information

- Performing random checks and audits

- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently- Review and verify order information for accuracy and completeness- Enter orders into the system and ensure timely processing- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any order-related issues- Communicate with customers regarding order status and updates- Maintain organized records of all orders and related documentation- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Experience:

- Previous experience in order processing or a similar role preferred- Familiarity with retail math concepts, including calculating discounts, markups, and margins- Proficient computer skills, including experience with order management software or systems- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work well with suppliers, customers and other team members.
