Job Description :

MFJ Glass are seeking Trainee Glass CNC Operator. Working in a production environment you will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to an extremely high standard. PLEASE NOTE – DUE TO PREVIOUS TIME WASTERS, APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS ALL CRITERIA HAS BEEN MET.

MUST HAVES:

Glass experience/background (desirable but NOT essential).

GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English language, mathematics, and at least one science.

Excellent computer skills.

Great attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Willing and flexible to work overtime as and when required.

Be able to work off your own initiative.

DUTIES OF A CNC GLASS OPERATIVE:

Using an on-board computer, to program in basic work instructions into an Intermac CNC (once trained)

Loading glass sheets.

Setting CNC machinery (once trained)

Making adjustments to avoid cracking and incorrect edging.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
