About this Role

Hours: Term time (38 weeks) / 10 hours per week

This role will provide Clerking duties to schools within the Brampton and Carlisle area, which include Caldew Lea Primary School, Castle Carrock Primary School, Longtown Primary School, Newtown Primary School, Petteril Bank Primary School and Yewdale Primary School.

As a Trust we continue to grow and develop with a central Trust Services team which support the infrastructure and business functions across our family of schools. A vacancy has become available within our Northern Hub of schools for an experienced and motivated Clerk to the school Local Advisory Boards. As a key member of the governance team you will have responsibility for

  • providing administrative support to CETs LABs in the Brampton and Carlisle area, working closely with each Chair and Headteacher to ensure the work of the LAB is effective and in line with Trust procedures.
  • This is a term time only post and the postholder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the annual meeting schedule, which is agreed in the Summer term for the following academic year.
  • The post involves working during the day and evenings to facilitate meetings for the School LABs
