Job Responsibility:

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking staff to join our team at the Central Main Kitchen Facility where all the meals for the hospital are produced. The successful candidate will be required to provide a general catering, portering and driver service to the Catering Department. Responsible for the distribution of food and other commodities to wards and departments within the Trust in a safe and hygienic manner, either manually or by using Trust vehicle. This will include driving off site. Responsible for the delivery and collection of food trolleys, baskets, bucket waste to and from wards and dining rooms across the Trust. Responsible for the completion of all relevant paperwork regarding journeys made in Trust vehicles. Take personal responsibility for ensuring all food hygiene regulations, including cleaning duties, are adhered to and documentation completed in accordance with Departmental procedures. The Catering Department provides training in food hygiene to other health professionals within the Trust.
