The CRM team run daily campaigns to our marketable base of over 8 milion customers. There are numerous datasets and this role is to ensure that there is understanding and analytics to help support campaign activity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to work in a role within an ambitious and market-leading CRM function, who is looking to balance data-led insights and recommendations against commercial targets.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Data Quality, Reporting and Dataset Maintenance, Model/Segmentation Building and Data Availability
  • Weekly CRM reporting: covering commercial performance, customer engagement and deliverability across channels and programmes
  • Working closely with the Data and Planning Leads to deliver commercial and customer insight and recommendations
  • CRM database monitoring and weekly reporting on size and health of base
  • Supporting the wider CRM Team with insight and analysis on programme, campaigns and strategic initiatives
  • Maintaining and improving the CRM Reporting Suite within the PowerBI environment
  • Working in close collaboration with CRM Mangers to develop Data Briefs for weekly campaigns and lifecycle triggers.
  • Supporting the wider CRM Team with datasets and segmentation for campaign builds and analysis
  • Developing and Testing Initiatives within CRM communications to drive incremental gains
  • Working with other Currys Teams (IT, BI, Customer Analytics, Data Science) to identify opportunities, maintain and improve our Customer Data

You will need:

  • Experience or a desire to work with complex data sets, data processes and QA to ensure that analytics and customer communications are maintained at the highest possible level
  • A good analytical ability and a strong understanding of data to apply learnings to drive improvements in campaign performance (inc. technical knowledge of CRM and analytical principles)
  • To be commercially focused & data driven, whilst still putting the customer at the heart of every data-led decision
  • To have great communication, presentation & organisational skills, with a strong focus on delivery & attention to detail
  • To be able to write SQL code, or Python , ideally within Azure/Databricks
  • To have some experience or interest in using PowerBI or similar package to host reporting and generate insights
  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing or Analytics is desirable
