We are currently searching for a Studio Manager/ Coordinator to join the team.

Our Studio Manager/ Coordinator (title to be decided depending on level of experience) will perform a pivotal role in the Design Team, managing the Design Team's involvement in the development of the collection from initial concept through to the finished product. Day to day you will provide a seamless link and flow of information between the Design Team and other departments, primarily; Merchandising, Product Development, Production and Marketing. You will also deliver administrative support to our Design Lead for day to day team operations, demonstrating your strong ability to handle multiple competing priorities successfully.

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Design Lead to manage department processes and the Design Team
  • Managing the Design critical path, ensuring it is updated and accurate and dates are met without delay for Product Development and Production
  • Planning, managing and organising the Design team calendar
  • Managing any 3rd parties throughout the creative process from a Design Team perspective
  • Managing in-season requests/additions and SMU requests for the Design Team and liaising with relevant team members/departments to ensure deadlines are adhered to
  • Administering and ensuring support is provided for all special/one-off projects as required
  • Supporting with additional activities such as styling, shoots, press events and shows as required, ensuring Design Team involvement is scheduled added to the critical path
  • Supporting with all collaborations/capsule collections from design through to delivery, ensuring other relevant departments are kept up-to-date at all times
  • Keeping abreast of the travel schedule for the Design Team and sharing information as required
  • Managing and overseeing the inventory of vintage and supplier samples and tracking their return
  • Supporting the Design Lead with operational People processes (holiday/absence tracking/Openblend session booking and other people related support)

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Solid work experience in a similar or related role to design studio management
  • A "can-do" attitude, willing to roll up their sleeves and make a vital contribution to a busy and fast paced team/working environment
  • The ability to work well with multiple stakeholders, levels and departments
  • An ongoing interest and passion for improving processes and keeping things organised
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (concise and clear note-taking a plus)
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel
  • Exceptional time management with the ability to prioritise a broad and diverse workload
  • The ability work independently and to deadlines
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Experience within retail brands desirable
