Description

Progeny Asset Management provides a Discretionary Investment Service for a combination of individuals, trusts, companies, and pension funds, as well as managing several fund solutions. As Asset Management Operations Team Leader, you will join our growing Investment team to support them in delivering an excellent client service and exceeding client expectations. You will support the team in the day-to-day management of key operations, whilst supporting Directors and the wider Investment team to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a small team, including their recruitment, training, and ongoing development.
  • Overseeing workstreams, delegating tasks, and providing support to the team.
  • Ensuring performance within the team is at a high standard, through regular progress meetings and check-ins.
  • Always providing an excellent service to clients.
  • Managing a variety of tasks including account onboarding, data inputting, letter production, responding to client queries, and producing reports in a timely manner.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous experience within Investment or Financial Services Operations function (essential).
  • Previous experience in management, training, and supervision for direct reports (essential).
  • Excellent working knowledge of investments within an administration/operations team (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel (essential).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Investment Managers and clients.
