Job Responsibility:

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Front of House person to join our team at the beautiful and awarding Gastro Pub, the St Tudy Inn.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and guest service, coupled with excellent manners, a flair for upselling and enjoy being part of this friend family.

Responsibilities:- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome- Assist in seating guests and managing reservations- Take food and drink orders accurately- Deliver orders to the kitchen promptly- Ensure food preparation meets quality standards- Handle payments and operate the till efficiently- Provide excellent guest service throughout the dining experience- Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience

Requirements:- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous- Knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently- A willingness to learn and help out in various areas of the restaurant- Culinary knowledge is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance, Graduate

Pay: £8.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
