Job Description :

Retail Shop Assistant

Burghley Park Golf Club is situated in the historic parkland surrounding Burghley House and located on the outskirts of Stamford, it is open to both members and visitors. We currently have over 800 members. We are looking to recruit a hardworking, well organised and forward-thinking retail assistant to join our team in the Pro Shop.

Key Responsibilities

· Manging the daily tee sheet, signing in all golfers, booking tee times and ensuring the golfers are teeing off in a timely manner.

· Assisting on busy competition days.

· Providing excellent customer service to all our customers.

· Collecting range balls from the driving range.

· Keeping the shop clean and tidy.

· Managing shop deliveries and returns.

· Working as part of a fantastic team.

Required skills and Experience

· Knowledge of custom fitting, and launch monitor is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.

· Experience using EPOS systems

· An interest in Golf is desirable but not essential

· Good communication skills

· Must be able to work well in a team environment.

· 30 hours working across 4/5days, Must be flexible to work a variety of shift patterns including weekend working. Our pro shop is open from 7am-7pm, 7 days a week.
