The Role

We're seeking a dynamic and skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead our Infrastructure Team into the future of Azure Cloud Services and Landing Zone management.

As a pivotal member of our Technology and Transformation team, you'll be at the forefront of our Azure initiatives, spearheading the design, deployment, and management of infrastructure components and applications into the cloud. Your leadership will develop and guide our Infrastructure Architect and team of Infrastructure Engineers to deliver robust solutions that support our business both in the cloud and on-premise. Reporting to our Head of Business Solutions, key responsibilities will include, by aren't limited to:

  • Being our Azure SME: Leading our team in embedding cloud governance models and defining future ways of working within Azure.
  • Architectural Leadership: Defining and enforcing cloud architect standards, ensuring widespread adoption across projects.
  • Design and Deployment: Overseeing the design, build, and deployment of infrastructure components into Azure and on-premise, ensuring relevant assurance checks are conducted.
  • Team Management: Ensuring our Infrastructure Team are correctly resourced, skilled and motivated to deliver key infrastructure.
  • Business Interface: Fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical solutions aligned with our roadmap. Act as the delivery lead on projects, collaborating with stakeholders, suppliers, and resources to plan and implement solutions.
  • Documentation: Thoroughly document implementations and contribute to support documentation to enable efficient troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.

We're an organisation that values collaboration and getting around a table to solve problems. You can therefore expect to work 3 days per week from our Head Office and 2 days per week remotely.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Cloud Expertise: Proven experience in delivering Cloud Migration Projects and managing Azure Landing Zones.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and line management abilities, with the ability to develop and sustain a high-performing team.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge across a range of technologies including Azure, Office 365, Active Directory, Intune, and more.
  • Security Focus: Experience working successfully with Security Architecture and implementing robust security measures.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Demonstrable ability to work with and manage 3rd parties, as well as collaborating within cross-functional teams and senior stakeholder.
