We are recruiting for a Occupation Therapist (Band 5/6) to join our brand new care home Willington Park Manor.

Role Overview:
As a Physiotherapist, you'll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure the delivery of top-notch care to our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:
Ideal Candidate:
- Recognised degree in occupational therapy
- To manage a clinical caseload and time effectively, prioritising work as required.
- To complete and maintain accurate treatment records in accordance with the BAOT Standards of Practise.
- To write professional reports to be shared at review meetings, and to attend review meetings where appropriate.
- To participate in team meetings, department meetings and liaison meetings with other professionals.
- To promote awareness of the role of occupational therapy within the Home
- Demonstrated commitment to continual professional development
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in influencing, listening, and negotiating
- Respectful and able to maintain confidentiality
- Transparent, open, and honest in all interactions
- Approachable with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of individuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Dedication to delivering high-quality service
- Ability to adapt effectively to change
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
- Developing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs
- Implementing treatment programs, including exercise therapy, provision of equipment, gait re-education techniques, and postural management
- Evaluating residents' responses to treatment and adjusting plans as needed
- Creating and maintaining daily exercise programs aimed at promoting movement and enjoyment for residents
- Communicating with residents, their families, and team members to provide advice and practical demonstrations to support residents' mobility and dexterity
