Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar Worker to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and have experience in bartending. This role involves serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The Bar Worker will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of service and upholding food safety standards within our establishment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations as needed.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
• Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: TemporaryContract length: 13 days

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
