Duties:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items- Create and develop new recipes and menu items- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with hotel standards- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes- Oversee the kitchen staff and provide guidance and training as needed- Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen- Collaborate with other departments, such as banquet and catering, to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:- Previous experience working as a Chef in a hotel or similar establishment- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and bartending skills is a plus- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food production and presentation- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage kitchen staff- Assistant manager experience is preferred but not required
