What does the role involve?

Working within a small team, you'll report to the Group Internal Communications Manager and play a key part in communicating with colleagues across the group: helping to engage, inform and bring people together.

Some of your key duties will include:

• Performing day-to-day maintenance and development of the group intranet (The Hub) to provide an engaging channel to communicate news stories and resources
• Working with colleagues across the group to develop and deliver ideas and content across all internal communications channels including intranet, email, and video
• Transforming complex ideas into engaging plain English that's easy for busy colleagues to understand.
• Researching, planning and writing content for our channels including the monthly magazine
• Supporting the development of video creation, including scripting, editing and shooting - both in-house and by liaising with external agencies
• Basic design work ranging from image manipulation in Photoshop and Canva to email creation in Outlook
• Support the delivery of live events across our offices

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual, comfortable with writing and utilising technology, harnessing existing skills and developing new ones with support from the existing team.

Also, we're looking for the following:

• Outstanding attention to detail, driven to deliver a polished final product
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with colleagues from across UK and European offices to translate their requirements into engaging communications
• The ability to work on a number of tasks and work to tight deadlines
• The desire to learn as well as take ownership and initiative over tasks
• Creative and full of ideas of how to improve and innovate
