Job Responsibility:

The CMA, the globally respected leading Professional Association in the complementary medicine and natural therapies sector, seeks an organised and professional Membership Secretary. This is a highly prestigious key role managing Memberships and ensuring smooth office operations, with flexible hours Monday to Friday (9-5 preferred). Occasional weekend work may be required for events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Membership applications, renewals, and records.
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries via phone, email, and social media.
  • Promote CMA Membership benefits and identify opportunities for Members to engage further.
  • Produce Membership statistics and reports.
  • Oversee the fulfilment of Membership packs and liaise with suppliers.
  • Maintain GDPR compliance and organise online filing systems.
  • Support social media, newsletters, and events logistics.
  • Contribute to team projects and process improvements.

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Professional phone manner and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and data management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a remote team.
  • Interest in complementary medicine or a related field.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in administration, practice management, or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with complementary medicine, clinics, or training schools.
