Job Responsibility:
The post holder will be key member of the Business Systems team and will work closely with colleagues across the Integration, Helpdesk, Testing, and Training teams to ensure they are providing a high-quality service to the Trust. The Business Systems team is responsible for supporting BEH's primary electronic patient record (EPR) system RiO, as well as a number of other clinical and operational systems in use by the trust. This role enables BEH to further enhance the quality of care to all its patients and directly respond to the increasing cost pressures through use of technology to drive efficiency in its operations; this role is involved at the core of the delivery of system-based benefits to the trust
- Be an expert for Clinical Systems configuration and integration
- Manage local configuration of Clinical Systems from concept, through to implementation and on-going operational management.
- Liaise with Transformation Leads to scope and define configuration changes.
- Consistently deliver a “client-focused” service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders as required.
We have been working together in a Partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust for some time, with a single Chair and Chief Executive since 2021 and single Executive Team since 2022. We launched our North London Mental Health Partnership Strategy in May 2023 and in July 2023 our Boards agreed that coming together to create one new Trust is best for our service users, our staff and our local communities. Subject to final approvals, we will be formally established as one new Trust on 1 October 2024. You will be tasked with managing and overseeing the configuration, integration, and implementation of software systems and applications within the Trust. Duties include developing and maintaining configuration management plans, ensuring all system components are properly integrated and functioning harmoniously. You will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design integration solutions, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the integration process. Additionally, maintain detailed documentation of configurations and integrations, implement best practices for version control, and ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. Continuous monitoring and optimization of system performance are also key responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation and scalability of the integrated systems.
