Founded in 1997, and providing nationwide services, ASG has teams based in Northern California, Los Angeles, the New York Tri-State Area, the Southeastern US, and the Rocky Mountain Region. We are looking for a Studio Producer. Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide producing expertise and technical direction in planning and scheduling video productions with creative teams
  • Serve as a videographer and editor on various projects
  • Manage production media and file deliveries with team standards and company policy
  • Manage and coordinate production vendors and onsite crew with team standards and company policy
  • Onboard production vendors in accordance with company policies, cultivating a network of global studio resources
  • Provide leadership team with reports on productions and vendor performance, availability, and risks
  • Serve as liaison between external vendors and internal partners
  • Responsible for managing risks throughout support planning all the way to final delivery
  • Communicate and enforce standards, creating and defining new standards as technology and production services evolve
  • Manage resources within budget and against deadlines
  • Ensure that services and systems are scoped, launched, and maintained in appropriate manners
  • Own logistics from end to end and oversee asset management of production gear inventory
  • Communicate with internal partners and stakeholders regarding Production development, logistics, garnering budget support, addressing notes and wrapping out project deliveries
  • Escalate issues encountered during productions in a timely manner to appropriate service owners for immediate resolution, or eventual maintenance
  • Create and contribute to team standard operating procedures, policies, creative/business workflows, and other documentation
  • Use Jira to input production project data, communicate with internal partners and team members, assist with greenlighting productions and to illustrate metrics via visual dashboards
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, deepen relationships, and consistently provide meticulous internal production services all the way to the C-suite level
  • Champion values of being kind, smart, and creative.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Managing production in a corporate, entertainment, or professional social media field
  • A self-starter who works well without supervision, approaches production problem solving proactively with the ability to fix issues fast and maintain professionalism and communication
  • Experience working with production companies, post houses, studios or networks is a must
  • Knowledge of the production lifecycle: development, pre-production, production and post
  • A working understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud tools with an emphasis on Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Frame.io
  • The ability to provide and receive constructive and creative feedback
  • Knowledge and ability to support a studio operation producing projects with industry standard equipment and services, including cinema cameras, editing suites, professional lighting, set design, supporting services, creative development services, talent management, and general operations
  • Knowledge of motion-capture systems and world building software/tech production techniques and tech experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship and collaboration skills with a diverse, cross-functional team
  • Can communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to learn and work in a variety of business applications for such processes as scheduling, project tracking, vendor management, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Experience using project management software to production plan - Jira knowledge is a big plus
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
  • Able to navigate non-conventional workflows and project structures in a mixed vendor and FTE employee staffing model
  • Ability to work autonomously and willing to take on any task to get the job done
  • Easily step into multiple production roles from planning to execution
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a film, television, corporate entertainment, and/or professional social media production environment
  • 2+ years of experience as a video producer
  • 3+ years of editorial experience
  • In depth experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs with an emphasis on Premiere Pro
  • Confident with Mac OS and iOS
  • Understands different video formats and codecs
  • A good knowledge of cameras and microphones
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of technical production experience in a production or corporate environment including the configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of production equipment
  • 2+ years of customer support experience in a technical environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an area of film and television production or creative media field
  • Experience working in a studio environment or collaborative production setting
  • Experience working in a start-up environment or tech company
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing, Development and Content creatives and professionals
  • Valid Passport for international travel (or ability to get one)
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs unassisted

Compensation & Benefits:

This full-time role offers a salary of £40,000-46,500 depending on experience.
