Do you enjoy helping customers and have experience in customer service? If so, we want you to join us as a Design Advisor. Your main role will be to guide and inspire homeowners as they work on their building and improvement projects, focusing on bringing in more daylight and fresh air.

Your Responsibilities:

At our office in Glenrothes you will become part of our new consumer services department and work within a team of highly innovative and skilled colleagues.

As an Installation Advisor, you will be the first point of contact and will guide customers in the specification of their products and you will liaise with our network of Installers to take each project through to completion.- thereby driving sales for the VELUX Group.

More specifically, you will:

• Listen and gather information from customers to understand their installation needs and key drivers of their project(s)

• Inspire and educate our customers on daylight designs and product guidance and proactively provide advice

• Recommend the best replacement solution based on your insight and knowledge of the project and needs

• Manage the Installer to ensure that the job is completed to the customers satisfaction

• Take full ownership of the customer journey and experience

As an Installation Advisor, you will be the first point of contact and will guide customers in the specification of their products and you will liaise with our network of Installers to take each project through to completion.- thereby driving sales for the VELUX Group.

Your qualifications

As a person you are service-minded and have a passion for delivering high quality and commercially focus interactions with customers via telephone, email, or virtual consultations. You are characterised by your excitement about people and sales. By utilising your good communication skills you will provide both our customers and Installers with an excellent service.

With your politeness and natural communication skills you easily build effective relationships whether it is on the telephone or via email. You quickly establish rapport with people and your demeanor instills trust and confidence.

With your structured approach and attention to details, you never lose sight of a customer project, and meeting deadlines and delivering what has been agreed with the customer is of paramount importance to you.

Furthermore, you :

• Hold a sales-mindset and an ability to close sales and ensure that customers are getting the solution that is right for them

• Hold well-developed questioning techniques to ensure in-depth understanding of customer needs

• Are curious and excited to learn about our product portfolios and offerings

• Have solid IT-skills and experience in CRM-systems
