Description

The IMS Coordinator role at Breedon Cement will work in conjunction with our multi-disciplined operational team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining an integrated management system (IMS) for storage and control of all relevant documentation and information as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a range of suitable SharePoint sites
  • Championing of document management processes and systems
  • Set up automated processes to manage document control (e.g. review/approval), Permit to Work, Management of Change, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment, Standards and Procedures, site inspection platform
  • Working in conjunction with the relevant departments to migrate new/existing documents
  • Assist in the production and supply of electronic and hard copy documents (where appropriate promote training to operational team IMS (SharePoint) and related IT systems)
  • Assist with the coordination of internal and external audit schedules along with the administration of associated actions
  • Ensure that all records are maintained in line with expectations and are available for Internal and external Audits in a timely manner
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement and share best practices
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of training for Cement GB team on SharePoint and associated systems

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Management System qualifications desirable. Demonstrable experience of electronic document management systems and associated processes. Experience in working in regulated sectors where quality and accuracy of documentation is paramount to Health and Safety compliance and day to day production. Skills/Knowledge:
  • Technical knowledge of modern web-based technologies
  • Experience with management systems
  • Microsoft Office expertise including
  • o Power Automate
  • o Power BI
  • o Power Apps
  • o SharePoint
  • Strong data management, analysis and reporting skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • A high level of self-motivation and organisational ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
