Salary: Grade F. SCP 17 £28,770 SCP 22 £31,364
Hours: 36 hours per week

The Role
The Organisation & Workforce Development Service is at the heart of Tameside Council; designing, attracting and developing the workforce to deliver high quality services for Tameside residents.
It is an exciting time to join the team as we have recently designed and implemented a new structure with a number of job opportunities at many different levels, all working towards delivering our People Plan to meet the Council's Corporate Plan.

About You
To be successful in the Workforce Development Officer role, you will be passionate about Learning and Development and keen to make a difference in supporting the organisation by designing and delivering corporate training initiatives. You will support the delivery of the People Plan by developing and implementing workforce learning and development opportunities for all colleagues to enhance the effective delivery of our services.
You will have experience of designing and delivering learning and development sessions to a variety of employee groups at different levels across the organisation, as well as facilitating focus groups and bespoke team sessions. You will also have the ability to support others in developing creative solutions to problems whilst developing and reviewing workforce development processes to improve service delivery and contribute to an improved employee experience.
As a member of the People & Workforce Development Service, you can expect to be part of an experienced team with excellent peer support and career development opportunities, including support towards achieving a CIPD qualification.
